THE DAY SHE BLEW!!!

"THE DAY SHE BLEW!!!"

Sept. 8th was the exact date, I shall n'er forget!
My most precious, gorgeous, and delightful asset!
Not really worth much, small screen.
Not human (I don't think?) not part of my pool gene!

Thankful to have lived long enough to enjoy
her marvelous feats!
All my wonderful friends out there in
"On-Line-Land--my best treats!

Sparks did fly, I saw colors like the 4th of July!
Then total silence, almost Ery--I was forced to
say Good-bye!

Now what to do? I'll call the professionals at MSN.....

"Excuse me? I can't understand a word.....
would you repeat that again?
Could I please speak with your supervisor,
or someone in charge?"
"No you cannot, for we all speak the same as me,
by and large!!!"

I know what I'll do, I'll call the company that
manufacturers my PC.
"Hello, Is this E-Machines? I'm having problems.....
It's your PC you see."
"Sorry lady, we don't deal with "How to problems"
you have to call MSN again!"
"But it's your PC. I don't understand? I can't
dicipher the language of MSN?????"

I've been here ever since, trying to learn MSN's language?
I'll never get this PC fixed without their knowledge!
So far, I've lost all my pictures, files, address book,
and my lunch!!!!
Won't someone help an old lady a whole bunch?

My sweet son Montie bought this brand new PC at Circuit City.
I think he got a "Lemon, " I'll call them, their PC is such a pity!!!
"Yes, Gary, I think I got a "Lemon," I did a restoration and that
still didn't fix it!
Gary said,
"I think a slight adjustment might do it, go to the control panel--
resolutions, I'm no nitwit!!"

You're right Gary, you're no nitwit, you're my "Knight in Shining Armor!!!"
I have Gary at Circuit City to thank for my PC's recovering blooper!
HippppppHipppppHorrary!!! For Gary saved my Day!
My brand new PC and I are here to stay!!!

What a fantastic write, my computer decided to die on me last weekend i lost a few poems but not to much.
I was told to contact my supplier but didn't bother as my friend bought a computer with them took out extra cover and when his computer crashed it took them 6 weeks to sort it out. They didn't even give him a replacement in the meantime.
I managed to bribe a friend down the road with homemade wine to reformat (is that the correct word? all this computer jargon is beyond me)anyway after all this waffle what i'm trying to say is good poem!

It is traumatizing to say the least. I am so glad you are back up. I missed you so. This is a laughable look at a bad situation. At least this poem and a clean house (for a week, lol) came out of it. How sweet of Montie.

Big smile here!

Can you imagine a life now without a computer? That is unimaginable! What did we do before they were invented? I dunno!

I'm glad your comp is fixed and that you are still here with us.

Very funny poem---with great pics as well.

Mom,
you've done it again, out did yourself with this funny but true, great write.
Fortunaly my son is my night in shining armor.
he spent ten years in comunication in the ARMY BUT TRAINED FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE HE got to duty etc. It was his brain that's oustanding 'cause it was his job to link up all comunication via computor. At the time ther was only one other person in army with his knowledge. He was born with a computor brain that was obvious when he was very young. When he had to think he'd beep and make noises and say gotta compute then he'd spit out the answer. At that time he'd never even been around a putor at ages 3 on.
Luv this write and so sorry bout your putor.
luv u mom,
yo brat,
emy
