I'm standing there on my back porch
Watching the squirrels play
As he puts his arms around me
We watch a blue jay.
As he holds me
He turns his head towards mine
And it just happened our lips should meet
This has to be a sign.
While I was still in a daze
Before he left he said good bye
And didn't look back at me
All I could do was let out a sigh.
