More simply life could be lived
With your head turned away from the sunlight
I have no more hope left to give
In the dark starless sky of your midnight
I’ll sing you to sleep one last time
My wings long to breath; I must fly
The grave in the dirt may be mine
I fear the first flight, but I’ll try
Blinded by life, see me fall
Stumble and bleed by these stones
Drifter at night hear my call
Can’t cross this bridge on my own
