Skinny Girls

Contributed by Trisha on Tuesday, 14th September 2004 @ 01:36:05 PM in AEST
Topic: PoemsonBeauty

I am not perfect
No one is
Some People are fat
Some are skinny
I have meat on me
But I’m not fat.

Skinny girls make me sick.
Skinny girls think their fat.
They get sick and make
themselves throw up.

I know someone like that her
name is mom
She thinks I don't know, but I do.
She doesn't do it all the time
But it's just the point, that she does it.
She thinks she's fat.

I can really relate to this. Although my mom doesn't "purge" she is constantly dieting. When I was 13.....that's all she would talk about ab=nd she would say that I was chunky too. So......I became anorexic and ended up on drugs and in the hospital. That was three years ago. Now.......I eat regularly......130 lbs. and I'm happy with the way I look. It really *****es me off with the girls today who care about their weight becaus eof guys. Someone is gonna like you for who you are....no matter what. Anwayz......this comment kindas goes out to anyone struggling with eating problems and to your mom. i hope she can get better. Take care....and maybe your mom should read this comment.

There is so much more to life than looks and other people's opionions about you.

This personally is one of the most offending poems i have ever read..if i make enemies writing this then so be it...i'm 4'11 and 105 lbs. and i'm 16...and i DO NOT think i'm fat.. i eat all the time non-stop....i don't make myself throw up....i would rather be at least 5'2...and 120 lbs. then as skinny and short as i am..it's not great it's stupid....i don't have hips..you probably do and i would love that!!!!..you make it seem as if all skinny girls make them selves skinny by throwing up, or not eating and that is so far from the truth....fast metabolism is not our fault...thank Isis..or god or w/e for being the way you are some people probably look at you and say I wish I had curves....yes people actually do say that!!!! why don't you consider the way we feel...and stop judging people you see everyday by what you see and hear on tv and in magazines..it's all hype...right???

other then that tho... i think you should tell your mom..i had some friends once that did that...and they were the cutest shortest little things in the world.....and i couldn't stand hearing about it....and the stories we hear about belimic's and anorexic's are true and so scary....you should get her help...or help her yourself...
