Naked Eyes

Contributed by ShadowsCloud on Friday, 8th November 2002 @ 03:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I come to you
my eyes naked
revealing all.
Hand trembling
you taste my insecurity
like virgin fruit in your mouth.
I smell your confidence.
It's an aura so bold,
you glow with it.
As I warm
your aura softens, fades,
and mine grows.
'Til entwined like serpents
you raise naked eyes to me...
And I smile, confidently.

Both becoming confident within each others ability to actually get someone we hold as special into this lovely scary position, that might just last a lifetime, this time please!

Lovely writing again Candice, and try not to lose hope while searching for your father, there's always a chance you may be pleasantly surprised, and if not then there's always that closure thing again!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, thanks for your comments on this poem. As for my Father, I honestly think that what I really need is closure. You see my mom is getting married next year. And I am going to have a new step-father, and he is really a great guy. But because of my issues with my father, I can't let myself love my mom's fiance, because I am afraid of being hurt again. Even though I know that Carl (my mom's fiance) would never intentionally hurt me. But because of my father, I am just having a really hard time letting myself love someone in a position to love me like a father should. I really do need closure with my father so that I can move on with my life. Thanks again for your comment
