Decorative Destruction

These hands of automoton
Work their way thru the dischord.
Happily plucking the sour notes of life.
Bows ignite in a roson induced flame,
And the trumpets scream for mercy.
The whispering of flutes
is the only peace amidst the ruptured orchestra.
hurriedly they exit,
As everything cresendos,
and collapses.
Brass devulges into bedlam,
And percussion turns to anarchy.
Auditory destruction,
Taken down only by the lights.
Softly the ink floats its way over,
And rests upon the hammer.
Tickling the ear into emotion,
Until the emotions are tangible and decadent.

If you have to ask...
I get your poetry, you just have to go with it.
You're very creative, and that's cool.
Groovy.

I don't know where it came from either but it's great. I think the line about percussion turns to anarchy might hint towards your punk brother. Is this true?? |

I don't see the point in analyzing poetry and trying to figure out
the hidden meanings behind the words. That's why I
always hated poetry in high school. Analyzing the crap out of it.
Dissecting it until it's reeks of something less than what it started
out being.
Dane, this poem should be read and taken for what it is.
Pure, unadulterated brilliance.
I like the way you think.
Peace!

Nice job tapping into the ol' creative here. I like the metaphors. A symphony of discontent. Great finish!
