Stranger

Contributed by _raspberry_ on Monday, 13th September 2004 @ 02:20:09 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

There is a battle raging on
Deep Inside of me
Pieces are imprisoned
And parts of me are free

Everytime I begin to feel
As if once again I'm whole
That the little pieces are reunited
...To again create one Soul...

The Monster that's inside of me
Rears his ugly head
And with his bloody razor, slices
Until that Soul is dead

I close my eyes, to see more clearly
This battle in my dreams
And watch the Happy One inside me
Dying, as She screams

Breathing, slowly, deeply,
I try to give her life
So that her Happiness may pierce me,
As she is pierced tonight

"Please, you can't die" I say
I know how to help her live
I ask a caring stranger
What help he has to give

He says he will help Imprison
My monster deep inside
That he will help the Happy One
Grow, and live, and thrive

One step forward,
Is what I choose to take
One step forward
I hope will help my fate

I love this. It's tragic and deep; very emotional.
