God ain't no republican redneck
He don't snarl and sneer
God ain't no belligerent bigot
He don't try to rule with fear
There's no candidate he favours
No sign of one like His son
Ne beacon of understanding
Spreading compassion to everyone
God ain't no republican redneck
He don't rant and roar with hate
He ain't no raving warmonger
With guns stood at his gate
No party wins his favours
No 'X' signed in holy writ
He doesn't hate state welfare
Liberal values don't make Him spit
God ain't no republican redneck
Twisting truth into base lies
He's no hypocrite politician
Who decent folks despise
There's no candidate he favours
No sign of one like His son

I thank you kindly for the lovely generalizations on Christians and Republicans. What are you exactly referring to as hate? Of what liberal ideas are you stating that God does not hate? I think this poem lowers itself to the low standard of hate that you claim those you are attacking posess.

God also doesn't kill innocent babies which is "liberal values"
He also doesn't beleive in homo's hooking up which is also "liberal values"
And as for lies just watch kerry everytime he makes a speech, he's a political cartoon. You could say he's for all the issues
Maybe you should pick up a bible and get to know God. Then watch some cspan becaues you don't know ***** about religion or politics

| As a Republican, I find this amusing...As a Christian, I find it offensive. When compared to the morals established by the Bible and the words within it, which side, R or D, comes closest to matching up? Um, personally, I don't remember God telling gays to marry and whores to kill the kids they didn't want...Not that the only reason ppl get abortions is due to them being whores, but a larger # than u would b lead to believe. |

Now, AsILayDying, as far as "God also doesn't kill innocent babies which is 'liberal values'", I'd like to see your face when your daughter or sister is bleeding to death from her vagina after trying to give herself an abortion with a coat hanger. When something becomes illegal, a black market opens up. Women are going to do it anyway, whether with a quack or a professional. Making it illegal won't change a thing. Its been happening for centuries.
