When I look at you... what do I see?
Staring back at me...
Hidden behind those beautiful eyes...
Where your pain lies... so deep... so wide
I can feel your emptiness inside...
It's like a turmoil churning... so violently at times
And I see the scars upon your arms...
You try and hide... by pulling down your sleeves
Babe... you can't fool me...
Your pain is still there... for all to see
Still staring you in the face...
Each time you try and erase
That which is bottled up inside of you
You are reminded each time...
Not only by the scars that lie without... but by those that lie within...
For they are cut much deeper... to no end
Is this really how you want to live?
Is this really the answer you seek?
Life is short... but His love is strong
As Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks
Crying out for you...
Oh... won't you please list to His call?
His words are true... as is His love for you
You are a sinner who is lost...and needs someone... just to care
Jesus is there...
Just step to the door and grasp its handle...
Because the choice is yours and yours alone
No one can do it for you...
It's all up to you...
I can only suggest...
Throw open the door wide...
Don't try and hide
From the gaze upon His face
That's shown with His love... mercy... and grace
Just let Him step into your life...
And take away all the pain... suffering and strife
And begin a new day...
You won't believe the difference... it will make
If you'll just take...
That one step that will lead you to Him
Life is short... but His love is strong
Just grasp with all your might... and hold on
'Cause it's your inner strength that comes from God
That helps you rise above...
All the needless pain and suffering in your life
Just turn it over to God...
And He will care
Life is short... but His love is strong...
He cared enough to send His only son
To die for you... for me... upon the lonely cross...
Both of us... sinners lost
Now we're found... oh... can't you see?
Our struggle is not against people or the world
Our struggle is a spiritual one...
Against the devil and the principalities... the powers who rule of the darkness
But we can take our stand...
Only with the Lord's help... can we win...
Now... when I look at you... what do I see?
I see one... who in her short lifetime....
Has had to bear.... more than she should have...
More than her share....
I see a beautiful rose...
One of many in God's great garden of life...
That will grow in His strength and love...
And feel His blessings sent down from above
Life is short... but His love is strong...

Do you feel like nobody really cares?
Like there's nobody really there?
To catch you when you fall...
WELL GOD CARES and HE'LL CATCH YOU WHEN UPON HIM YOU CALL!
He knows all about you... your pain... your struggles... your sufferings... your life...
The Bible says: "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23)
That's right... sin separates us from God...
HAVE YOU TAKEN THAT STEP OF FAITH TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST Personally... AS YOU SAVIOUR?
The Bible says: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him..."
If your best friend was knocking at your door right now... what would you say to him... would you let him in?
Jesus is at the door of your heart right now...
WILL YOU RECEIVE HIM...? WILL YOU INVITE HIM INTO YOUR HEART... YOUR LIFE?
WHAT WILL YOUR ANSWER BE?
NO ONE ELSE CAN HELP YOU...
You can receive him right now... if that is your desire...
WHAT MUST YOU DO:
Pray to God in your own words:
*ADMIT you are a sinner... and only Jesus can save you (Romans3:23)
*REPENT: turn away from sin and submit to God (Luke 13:5)
*BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and shed His precious blood to pay the price for your sins and that He arose again. (Romans 10:9)
*ASK God to save you (Romans 10:13)
*ASK Jesus Christ to come and take control of your life. (Romans 12:1-2)
And thank Him for fulfilling His promise! Amen.
Once this is done:
*Read your Bible everyday and get to know Christ better...
*Talk to God in prayer everyday... tell Him all your troubles...
*Find a church where His complete word is taught and is the final authority
*Obey Christ's command and be baptized (Matthew 28:19)

Hi all!!!
I don't usually do this... but somehow I know...
I'm gonna take a lot of flack for this... so I'm gonna head it off b4 it even begins...
My reason for writing this and the tag on the end is something that God has laid upon my heart to do... as I say in the author notes:
If this can reach just one person out there... then I will have accomplished my mission...
I have come to believe... that I'm not really writing for myself... but writing to help others with their struggles and to let them see... that someone out there has gone thru or going thru the same things...
Basically... I write to let the ppl out there know that someone cares...
I'm sorry if this offends anybody... but it's something I personally felt is the right thing to do!
