Don't ask, for I shall never tell;
My mind holds my hearts secret.
A dark truth hidden by a smile.
Even the stronghold of my mind will crack,
Revealing all its secrets to the world.
I'll be driven crazy before the end.
Love is a cruel master, always laughing;
Always making you want everything,
Everything you cannot have.
I'm wrong this is not love but lust.
Love is what you feel around the one,
The one who understands you, and
Whom you value highly.
Love is not cruel, life is;
It can keep love from finding you,
And you end up sad, bitter, and angry.
Goodnight and sweet dreams,
May you find happiness at your wake.
