From the Void

Contributed by Hurretje on Monday, 13th September 2004 @ 02:23:24 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

As the days cover the nights
And the cloughs swallow the heights
Then my world turns as I please
In the darkness I'm at ease

How I yearn to need no breath
Give them all the kiss of death
No more dawns to scrape my soul
I hide deeper in my hole

Dig on deeper where dark lies
Hear yet louder these stretched cries
There's no fire in Mount Doom
Dig on deeper for my tomb

Silent creams as I'm reborn
Tearing shrieks as I am torn
Swept away, I leave behind
The fading pieces of my mind

Tell me why is it so cold?
And so dark, so black I feel
This numb emptiness none can heal
From the barren soul I sold

Congratulations Hur this is a wonderful piece of perhaps who knows death and reincarnation. Somewhat frightening but I think that was your point to be made. 5/5 all the best from bernard.

There's a lot of grief to this. A very fine portrayal of feelings that must hurt, indeed.

God bless.

Andrew
