She was it
Everything
You know, the one you wish you girl was
Her
She had a face that left me dazed
A smile I dreamed about for days
And a body that needed no introduction
Her curves were a breathless seduction
She would enter a room a turn more than one head
And leave the men wishing she was in their bed
I knew she was the one after a short glance
I knew we’d be great together if she’d give me a chance
And when she did; it was over before it started
Because her love for me was very highly regarded
It went from nights at the movies
To watching rentals at home
From dinner with friends
To a candle light meal alone
We did more than make love
I took her body on a journey
Relived everyone of her fantasies
Until they took her away in a gurney
I would caress her body starting with her lips
And work my way down paying close attention to her hips
There isn’t a word that could describe what we felt at the moment
Because I took her body as if I owned it
Every night was how often we did it
Sometimes she was too much to handle
But I’d never admit
“So who’s this old flame you still carry?”
Her
The one up there
Getting married
