Days go by and the time fades away,
reminiscing on all the memories we made.
I can't tell if you're far from my heart,
or maybe the truth is we were never really apart.
From one another, but my life goes on,
still I dream about you and me, even though you're gone.
All my best efforts, nothing seems like it'll do,
until the time you realize that it was all just for you.
I let you fall through my hands as we embraced,
now all I know is the smile of your face.
When I'm missing you, dreaming of you,
because that's as close as I can get, I know what we've been through.
I couldn't recognize it until it was too late,
please open your eyes baby, for both our loves' sake.
Why couldn't I see how much you meant to me?
From the time we had just met, to the time we could be.
Us together, that's all I'm missing now,
it feels like forever since the time we went around.
I still remember the days, when we were first -us-
I said I'd stay with you always, I thought it was a must.
Somehow I feel like our time is running out,
we can take things slow, still I have no doubt.
That what we had, wasn't anything like what we could be,
tell me what you're feeling, are you still into me?
The dream I have for us, even though it's just a dream,
I feel like we could be together, forever it seems.
Maybe it was fate on that cold, simple night,
all I know for sure is that you give my life light.
Hope you still remember, just who I am,
Listen to your heart, I know I can still be your man.-eL
