Last night as I drove my way out of town,
I came upon a wreck scattered on the ground.
My heart started to pound and my hands to shake,
A few quick decisions, I knew I had to make.
Jumping from the car I ran with all my might,
To the wreckage that seemed to be such a terrible sight.
The air smelled of fuel. and the ground looked of red,
I knew there were only minutes, before this man was dead.
Sirens I can now hear in the back of my mind,
Please God I pray, that they make it on time.
