A penny for your thoughts
expensive as they seem
a quarter for your inspiration
doller for your dream.
thousand worth of currency
born without a doller
children who have been cut short
will soon be growing taller
many years
the soles have vanished
many ears
their voice is banished
now stand tall
with crutch of art
the tool of mind
and strength of heart
no more will you not be equal
say it loud and write a sequel
