Of All The Things I Miss Most

Contributed by pixie on Sunday, 12th September 2004 @ 12:29:28 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

Of all the things that I miss most,
Is my mind my sanity is now just a ghost,
A thing of the past what is it to be sane?
When you’re crazy you can’t feel pain.

Sanity used to be a close friend of mine,
But it couldn’t turn water into wine,
But now I can I can do anything in my world,
People whisper about me, the crazy girl.

I know that everyone is out to get me,
In my head I hear the buzzing of a bee,
Then a clear voice rings in my ears,
I can’t help but to cry those insane tears.

The voices tell me to kill those who lie,
That liars & back stabbers deserve to die,
So I take the knife that lies in the drawer,
I can hear them all calling me a whore.

Murder & blood are all I think about,
I wish to hear my victims scream & shout,
As they will pay for every last one of their sins,
They were the ones who made my sanity wear thin.

I wake up on the floor with blood all around,
Red rivers everywhere but not a single sound,
Apart from my own death defying screams,
I have killed myself or so it seems?

It's safe for me to say that I've felt this way before. I hope to never feel it again. Remember this: I still love you and your poetry. I will be there for you when you need it. I'm always just a mouse-click away.
Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea
