The Strangeness Of Life
That a stroke of fate
should our lives enrich,
and a stroke of fate
send our lives to plunder;
that to fight for each other
to the crest our ship rose,
that to fight for ourselves
the same ship should go under;
whilst foes were without us
the battles we won,
now foes are within us
we are rent asunder;
when all’s said and done
there’s no question nor doubt
that the strangeness of life
is not such a wonder.

nice work got me thinking do we make our own luck in life?
i believe we do you've got 2 choices happy or sad.
my lifes been great since i cheered up!
I enjoyed this poem very much.

I agree with Johnny. Your state of mind in life can make all the difference in how your life ends up. We have to weigh our actions and look at the reactions of them on lives and the lives of others close to us. We were given the ability to make choices. Hopefully we try to make the correct ones. Nice write, Jordan.
