The Sky's Dark Gaze

Contributed by Pyrofungus on Saturday, 11th September 2004 @ 02:20:23 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Crystallized eyes
Mocking the winter’s peak
A sky so gray
It’s crying like us
We can’t see past the sky’s dark gaze
Like our own inner being
We struggle to find ourselves in the stars
Maybe even floating on a lighter cloud
Jumping from minute to minute
Trying to figure out who we are
But we can’t
We never will
The fogs to thick
Our eyes are not meant to see through it
So we walk around unknown to ourselves
Trying to see straight
Looking for clues to who we are
In the planets and stars that surround us
In the night’s sky…

Looking for clues to who we are

another great line...we don't have a clue, most of us.
Thanks for the great post.
