If you ever loved me
If you ever loved me,
the way you had me lead,
would you still think of me
when the sun retires to bed,
Would the nights moon,
and our full memories,
bring a smile to your face,
and a quiver to your knee's,
And when the lights of colored fire,
blew across dark sky's
would you remember what really mattered,
when you eyes told their first lie,
What about that time I told you,
what you didn't wish to hear,
will you be ashamed to remember,
your reaction, and my fear,
And if I were to leave right now,
From this life worst than it may seem,
would you even whisper my name,
or is that just a dying dream.
