Hush my Child

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Hush my child, it is time for bed
Hush my child, please rest your head
No one is going to hurt you now
No one is going to steal you now.

Here is a tissue, dry your eye
Hush my child, there is no need to cry
Say no more, your mom is home
Relax my child, you are not alone.

Dream my child of wonderous days
Playing and dancing in the sunlights rays
No one is going to neglect you now
Mom is here to protect you now.

Forget those harsh words that you heard
As if you did not hear a word
Come my child, you are free at last
Come my child, your hurt has passed.

For now my child, the night must end
And trust that I will be your friend
No one is going to haunt you now
No one is going to hurt you now.

Hush my child, it is time for bed
Hush my child, rest your weary head
I will fight to protect you now
I will show you happiness now.
