911: THE ANNIVERSARY OF DESPAIR AND HOPE

Contributed by steeleyes on Friday, 10th September 2004 @ 07:25:02 PM in AEST
Topic: political

9/11 was the work of the cold-blooded
Of those who lost their souls to hate
9/11 stunned America and the world
When solutions came too late

Too many problems left too long
Too much pain and so much more
In a wicked world a wicked act was born
Into our hearts those planes did soar

Which lessons were now to be learnt
to decide the fate of our world?
To achieve a world of justice?
Or just more death to be unfurled?

The road took two ways
The families knew this so well
They asked for true justice
Not just more violent hell

Out of the hell of 9/11
Just one bright possibility came
That an international consensus
might end this terror shame

One tiny chance
fuelled by so much goodwill
One possible hope
in the midst of deathly chill

That the world together
keeping JUSTICE firmly in mind
Could finally unite together
And gain a PEACEFUL Mankind

Sadly through lies
This was not to be
The chance was sadly lost
in deceitful indignity

Lies were used
to swerve off course
The families were betrayed
They prayed against this force

They prayed for simple justice
Without more pain, suffering and death
They had seen far too much of that
to the ending of our Earth...

powerful. manipulation is an asset that is invaluable, but it can also lead to downfalls.

It looks good. Better, in fact.

Keep it up.
