Spell Well And Tell

Contributed by inoc on Friday, 10th September 2004 @ 07:55:41 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

what a shame
it is to write a nice poem
knowing the spellings no good
and you know you have a problem
the words
are definitely in your head
but you type them down
incorrectly instead
words you know
don't look or seem alright
and you know they are simply
a horrible sight
but to look them up
in the famous dictionary
would take ages for you to find
maybe to next February!
so for the poets
that are just gorgeous and damn brilliant
their spelling is
*I'm so jealous* so excellent
you think
you would try harder and improve
but sorry you will have to just read the poems
please excuse

I truly enjoyed your poem and it is more in showing your emotions than in correct spelling whether a poem is worth reading or not. This one certainly is! Keep it up.

Greetz,
Hur

i had someone picking at mine awhile ago so i sent them "happily illiterate" as my thankyou reply,
it can be off putting when people cant see past mistakes,
blessings,

I know what you mean, and as long as anyone can decipher it, that's all that counts. I think all art should be digested in it's true form. Just my opinion. And just think, someday when you become fameous, that may be your trademark! eh? Write on.

You just keep writing, we will keep reading. As long as you get out your feelings and emotions that is what is important. I enjoy your work.

Rita
