My Broken Smile

My Broken Smile

I'm sitting here now, thinking,
Hoping and dreaming,
Waiting for the day
You'll wake up feeling grey.

Sitting here for awhile
With this broken smile
You've put upon my face.
Sitting here trying to erase
This rather ugly trace
You've put upon my face.

Without knowing what to do next,
Not knowing where else to go,
I'm writing out this text
To You now,
-Without knowing when or how-
Not wanting to feel this low, anymo'e.

People used to notice me
By my beautiful smile,
And now You've left me sitting here
With this broken smile.

You just left me here to be feeling grey.
You, who ran away
Taking all I that had,
Was it not enough seeing me sad?

I'm sitting here now, thinking,
Hoping and dreaming,
Waiting for the day
You'll wake up feeling grey.

Sitting here for awhile
With this broken smile
You've put upon my face.
Sitting here trying to erase
This rather ugly trace
You've put upon my face.

Have You seen this broken smile?
Did You care to stay for just awhile?
Can You fix this broken smile?
Or am I just not worthwhile?
No need for that sort of style,
I haven't ever been, not once hostile
To You.
So why are You?

Sad and bitter, but this poem is beautiful.
I hope you'll find peace again in your life!
Hugs,
Hur

Just because someone has left you behind, don't ever let them make you feel like you aren't worthwhile! No one can ever make you feel like that unless you let them... Be happy!!
