I could engrave your words inside my soul
whisper the words that keep you whole
I would come to love you within time
eventually call you mine
numb your pain like alcohol
but you would drink me like cheap wine
You would knock me down
and leave me sore
i would be worthless
if i was yours
but the pimp is nothing
without his whores
so consume what saves you
until its gone
but the king is nothing
without his pawns
and you would be nothing
without me
because hes also nothing
without his queen
I could whisper the words that make you whole
and to the devil extend my soul
use and be used
until i fall apart
ill never sell my soul
or surrender my heart.

Yes love is often like this. I loved this with all
the analogies and such. This was just
wonderfully written. I loved the last two lines
they were very inspiring. It was good to read
something by you finally.
