Divine Ignorance

Contributed by CrimsonOrgazm on Thursday, 9th September 2004 @ 08:34:52 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

you crawled your way under my skin
oh divine ignorance
it's the perfect sin
carving your name into my heart
little did i know you'd tear it apart
leaving me here
bleeding to death
but i wont shed a tear
there's not enough breath

i can't waste my time
on a ******* like you
i can't be naive
theres too much hate for you

oh divine ignorance
where have you gone?
little did i know
i was alone all along
selfish *******
uncaring *****
thinking of you
makes me terribly sick

oh divine ignorance
where have you gone?
little did i know
i was alone all along

pretty powerful write. seems like there's rage bubbling under the surface that you held back, but still a great write

Oooh . . . great poem, but the second and third line of this, as well as the last two lines, just blew me away. I love them. The excessive *****s sorta detracted from this a bit, I thought, but to each their own :). Anyhow, nice job.
