Cheater

Contributed by AnastasiaN on Thursday, 9th September 2004 @ 08:10:14 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

She sees him standing out there
touching that girl's smooth dark skin
his eyes locked in an oblivious stare
and as she smiles he lures her in
His blank thoughts hold no one but her
and the others he'll meet on the way
Nothing will change this infidelity that burns
while his girlfriend sits at home and waits
She calls upon her bleak history
to try to fit in where she went wrong
yet it still remains a mystery
why he strays out there so much for so long
She wonders if she's asking too much
if she could change, she's trying so hard
Perhaps this crazy girl shouldn't judge
where the change of this one person should start
If only he could open his eyes and call upon
his blank thoughts to try to fit her in
if only he could see where everything went wrong
she might still be with him

hmmm this is very sad, unlike my comment from earlier. this is tough situation for anybody, but if it's meant to be then it will happen and if not, then don't waste time on changing. i am sure you already know that but just in case........................
