Goodbye and Goodnight

Goodbye and Goodnight

I sit,
waiting for tomorrow,
because there is nothing worth living for today.
I'm sick of waisting my time in nothing, when everyone I know is staring at:
my bleeding heart

*Chorus:*
My bleeding heart,
I'll follow it down
farther than I have before,
in to darkness in to the unknown.
I'll follow it down,
down to where we die,
down to where we lost it all.
*End Chorus*

I don't want to let this go.
I just wanted you to know, don't let this go, ever.
I just wanted you to know, that everything
has been so great since I met you,
everyday was like a dream come true.

Remember the time we stayed out late,
and you asked me for a date?
We took a drive and looked at the moon,
why did this have to end so soon?
You used to come to our shows and stand front row
this song is for you and I hope you know.
But it wasn't good enough for you.

*Chorus*

I don't know what to say,
I don't know what to do.
I can't live this way,
I guess I'll wait for you to get
your crap together.
I sit, waiting for tomorrow,
but it will never be the same, what do I do now
that tomorrow falls apart.

*Chorus 2x*

Goodbye to you, my best friend,
I'll see you again, but it will never be the same.
Goodbye to you my best friend,
I'll see you again but it will never be the same.
Goodbye and goodnight

Well, I know its not very good as a poem, but as a song its pretty cool. Please do comment on it- any kind of input would be greatly appreciated.
