Finally Done

Contributed by coolsmcniel on Wednesday, 6th November 2002 @ 02:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

As I lay here
my mind is gone.
Thinking of nothing
except what you want.
It's awesome to think
just a time ago
you were the only one
I wanted to know.
Things have changed
and you're not around.
You can't hear me cry
as i lay on the ground.
You can't ever know
how much you loved me,
but I knew
from the moment you touched me.
I felt a chill
all down my spine.
I felt that feeling
that you wanted to be mine.
I guess you never felt it,
because you aren't here.
I think you mixed up the meaning
of having love and fear.
Don't be afraid
love is the greatest thing.
Ha, just to think,
I picked out your ring.
No matter what you say
it wasn't a waste.
You came to me so quick,
and left in a haste.
What would it take
for you to come back?
I remember you told me
to pick up the slack.

I just realized
I don't want you anymore.
I just realized
I was happier before.
Before you i felt free,
Before you I felt good.
I could be me.
I always though you were wonderful.
I always thought it was fun.
Now im just glad it's over,
finally,
Done.
