Taking control of everything
A steady constant beat
Music fills my heart with joy
Taking my fears and sleep
I lost my music
I step sideways today
Never progressing
It’s no good I must say
Music constantly pulses inside
Without it nothing
I become so blind
Without my music
What would I do
I would surely die
I don’t know about you
I need my music
To live day to day
I need my music
More than I can say
I may be in tact
At least for today
But without my music
I'm starting to fray
My edges will tear
I will fall apart
I may never get better
Broken will be my heart
If you find my music
Sing it to me
I need to find pitch
Will I ever be free?

great poem. you have an excellent flow for poetry that not many of us have. i can personally relate to this poem because i'm a music freak myself. but more of the instrumental kind...not the voice kind. anywhoos...keep up the great writing and check out some of my stuff. it's a lot more depressing that yours i'll tell ya that much.
