The Search Part II

Contributed by sheri on Wednesday, 8th September 2004 @ 08:16:45 PM in AEST
Topic: fictional

Dark sunrise cascades across the land
blanketing the sight of mortal man

gone is the lover I had dispassionately burned
in his place will be the love for who I yearn

One thousand lives linked with one thousand destinies
this loves embrace could be the darkest death to me

as I travel down the path of my life's journey
I was once sure that my dreams of him lead me

to the place and time where my dark knight stands
I travel across the most perilous lands

she is there as before my guardain angel Solienore
to mangle with such a malivoilent force that will never be ignored

she has completed one more score she vowed to settle
another vile creature has died under our blazing sharp metal

at last we are resume my quest for my heavenly mate
the one who has been picked by the very hand of fate

darkly long have been the hours wondering this sphere
searching with diligence for the knight that just doesn't appear

my heart is fragile from bitter lack of result
my mind is a boiling pot of inner turmoil that my thoughts are to halt

and end the search for a love I have so longed deserved
the visions are now weak and blurred

do I continue the search for my mysterious soul mate
or do I give up on the ideas of true love and fate?
