Rage

Topic: AngryPoetry

This world is pulling me down,
Taking me down, letting me down.
Everyone's scornful smiles and looks
Make me feel unwanted, unneeded.
My salvation won't come from books,
The words you say will go unheeded.
I'm so angry, I think I could kill.
If only I had a weapon, a means.
I think I could, I think I will.
I have lost sight of what it means.
No one loves me, no one loves me,
My mind keeps repeating to me.
I'm so blinded by rage, I can't see.
I'm consumed by fear, can't you see?
I've got to get out, got to leave here,
Or else I think I will lose my soul.
I can't find my way out of here,
Can't find a way to be me, to be whole.
Love and hate are all in the past,
All that matters is to kill and to maim.
This life and time are passing too fast.
I've got to change; I can't be the same.

interesting concepts. well im personally a world hater because i just sick of what it does to you also. some things take time, like love, etc. other people will only affect you if you let them. i let other people affect me, and well you know where it got me? it got me almost nothing but pain and misery.

they are also capable of being positive influences and good assets to your life, but many dont. if a person wont matter in your future life, dont worry about them. worrying about insignificant things is what brings people down the most sometimes when they are so focused on the present.

anger and rage, if they are left unchecked they leave you in a cage. that is to say you could lock yoourself up in lets say worse circumstances than you began with and caged by guilt, etc. i think that anger and rage can be used for some good though. they in themselves are bad, but they can be used to good means such as using your anger against the world to try and change it?

if fear holds you back you need to overcome it. you will never get rid of it, you will just have to over come it again and again. i myself still have fear problems and its only a detriment to my life. dont let it be like that for you.

dont forget what i said about consequences in the other comment on prayer. change for yourself and not for anyone else or any other reason. or youll just come to hate yourself or want to change yourself again.

btw, i like your style and how you can bring the emotions to life. never let go of your talents. too many people waste them away. well i must say you are sick of me by now, so later =]
