In a yellow ribbon we may find
the strength and courage, the will to fight;
ever present in the depths of our nature;
a forceful presence in the face of world rapture.
Struggling to grasp some strands of truth;
desires, and perseverance of our youth.
In a yellow ribbon there is love,
sorrow, anger, inspiration -
of the same making,
the same well of emotions.
Here are the questions that puzzle;
the yearnings of peace and resolution.

Great poem. Somany ribbons today, so many causes. A ribbon for each heartache..As many ribbons as there are leaves for the trees..we should do a group write..The ribbons of Autumn..color the causes. |
