I Know It Won't Be Easy

I know it won’t be easy at all,
Getting up after my hard fall,
But determination & love are my drive,
Thoughts of you keeps my love alive.
Fear is very hard to overcome,
When I have long to them succumb,
But it is time for me to be brave,
I have a lot to try & save.
I have took Mark for granted for too long,
I feel ashamed & I have acted so wrong,
Mark deserves much more than pain,
But he let me do it again & again.
Love is something that I nearly lost,
My anger laid down an icy frost,
Drove a wedge in between our bond,
I should have seen it coming all along.
I couldn’t see the wood for the trees,
I made the relationship crawl on it’s knees,
For that I very deeply regret,
It’ll take awhile for you to finally forget.
There’s no word to describe how awful I’ve been,
Now to make it up to you I am keen,
I know it won’t come back overnight,
But I am not giving up on this fight.
The steps that I now have to take,
Are vital I can’t afford a single mistake,
For you, for our love I will succeed,
We need to be rid of depressions deadly weed.

Don't feel ashamed. You see it now. do what's right. Don't get down. put that emotion into keeping it from happening again.
