What is it?
Is it the breeze stroking the trees;
Or is it the laughter of you and me?
Is it the sun, setting or rising;
Or is it a passion fanciful and free?
Is it a test, rigorous with merit;
Or is it a dream, innocent and pure?
Is it the curse of every person;
Or the fate of every being?
Is it dynamic and divergent;
Or is it apathetic and abnegate?
Is it trapped in the flaws of society;
Or free-thinking with unique correlation?
Is it the voices of the art we see;
Or is it nature-natural- in ease?
Is it the feel of every day’s eve;
Or the manipulation of sociology?
Is it the thunder quiet with malaise;
Or is it the common passing of each and everyday?
Is it the bold taste of liberty;
Or the impromptu feel of eld age?
Is it the sight worth seeking;
Or the tainted air worth breathing?
Is it the pride of every soldier;
Or is it the rights that war achieves?
Is it emotions, fickle or undaunted;
Or is it love unconditional and true?
Is it the fears of all who lived;
Or the complacents of facetious tales?
Is it the tears of the bound soul;
Or the anger of the enraged spirit?
Is it a savior glorified by man;
Or the faith lost in trauma?
Is it the fury that exist in homicide;
Or the anguish obtained in suicide?
Is it the prays sent out from all whom born or died;
Or is it the ceased prayers whom never came?
Is it the confrontation of a family;
Or the friendship of once rivals?
Is it visible, yet unreachable;
Or invisible, yet tangible?
Is it you…
Or is it me…
Perhaps its everything that can, will, or ever be…
It is.-

I love the playful inquisitive nature of things so deep and indescribable. It adds a certain feel that, we're all left as curious children with some things, because some things have no explanation. I thought you expressed that well! Thanks for sharing this poem! |
