The Hidden Love

Contributed by mcloysoccer on Tuesday, 7th September 2004 @ 06:47:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Every day I live with it
These horrid sounds of hate
PMS thrives monthly
I can definitely wait

Hatred pulses, rumors flying
Always thinking that I’m wrong
In their eyes I’m always lying
They’ve thought this for so long

All these words are suffocating
They hang me inch by inch
Death by hatred suffocation
Death is not my wish

If i am to survive the hate
I only want one thing
The love of someone dear to me
Because she lets me sing

This woman does not glare at me
If ever I mess up
She only smiles, pretends not to notice,
And helps me get back up

Take a guess at who it is
I'll bet you that you're wrong
You do not know who it is I love
The essence of my song

She doesn't know my feelings
She is the one for which I long
She just really doesn't notice
As I sing to her my song

Please notice me, and listen
To this song of mine
Please hear the notes I'm singing
Look beneath the words that rhyme

I love you deep within my heart
And deep within my soul
I love you truly, deeper still
Than you will ever know
