LoveRemembered

Why don’t you take my hand?
And we can fly away,
To some foreign land,
And to a magnificent exotic bay.
We can walk on the beach,
And play in the sand,
Look to me and I will teach,
Come, take my hand.
We can visit the jungle,
The desert and the arctic,
I hope that you are able,
And everything will be like magic.
Don’t laugh at me,
I understand your concern,
But we don’t need any of them,
It is for you that my heart yearns.
We can write about out travels,
Write it down in a big, red book,
Then everyone round the world can marvel,
Delve in and take a look.
Oh my sweet, sweet dear,
I turn my head and you’re gone,
I hope that you are near,
I need you to rely on.

Such a magical and beautiful journey you paint with this poem. Who could resist to take that hand and travel across time, space, water, sand or fire and ice.
Thank you for sharing this.
