Have you ever ,really sat and thought what a best friend could, and would be?
One, who makes you laugh, until the stiches are ready to pop
One , who,takes all the comments and words you put out, at a drop
A friend who knows you like a book, and then even more
One who sits and listens and listens to what they have already before
They never complain, about what is said, even if some use BIG words
They nod, and say yes.......eyes all aglow, and take it in and go with the flow
When you are sad, they are there to help and comfort
Even if it be the biggest hug ever, and try to make it all perfect
Just know when you get this best friend, never let go
Because, you may never have the chance again to go to and fro!

Oh yeah to find a friend is rare, unconditional is even more hard to find, to laugh and put up with all the lil things in life...and the mountainous molehills too.
Beautiful poem, and sweet thoughts, thanks for sharing this.

This is so true...... I've got a good friend who does just that to me... and I don't plan to ever let him go...unless it is his choice...

this is a very true and tender poem it's rare to find a friend like that but there are out there. I know there is because i have found one and she means the world to me, i can honestly say i would die for her. But it always works both ways..
