“Mon chasseur precieux et fonce” (My precious and dark hunter)

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Tuesday, 7th September 2004 @ 08:54:01 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Night has fallen,
My precious Muse has revealed her beauty to me…
Stalker of the shadows, I am…
Whore to the night, I am…
Killer of the human race, I have become…
Darkness is my dwelling,
Death is my lover…
Everything in this pathetic world can and shall be mine…
I walk the musty graveyard,
Hoping to find a source of satisfaction to my ravenous hunger…
Something stirs from the shadows of a willow tree,
I smell fear…
Delicious, arid fear…
I pursue it, this seemingly lost mortal,
Defying gravity and time, moving from one shadow to the next, so I may be hidden…
I love the hunt,
Hearing their hearts pound as they feel my cold hands wrap around their delectable necks…
Instinct tells them that this is the end…
I tease them,
Play with their strings; make them do what I wish…
Then they receive my “kiss”…
The sweetest thing ever to experience,
Subsequently, the quick stab of my teeth piercing through their pallid skin…
I shudder with pleasure at the thought of this weakling’s essence flowing through my dry veins…
My senses notify me that he has stopped running,
His breathing is calmer; I notice the fear is gone…
I am somewhat disappointed, but the game is still being played…
With delight, I realize he is now chasing me!
The mouse shall now chase the cat,
The slave goes against its Master!
Quite refreshing, this modern sport…
So, I let him pursue me, relishing in the fact that he doesn’t know what’s coming…
My sharp ears hear his light footsteps run across from me…
Interesting how he got there so quickly, I thought to myself…
I gradually revolve to face this brave man…
My red eyes befall on the most striking individual I have ever encountered…
His hair danced on the wind like a shadow,
Dark emerald eyes, glimmering with determination,
His eyes bore into mine,
And I couldn’t think, couldn’t breathe,
Couldn’t breathe for I feared that a single breath would blow this whole moment astray,
Though… I couldn’t look away either…
A massive frame, with a cross bow at hand…
Ah, so this was my great follower…
Mysterious, irresistible…
“Dark hunter, what is your business with me?”
I questioned him with a wicked grin playing on my lips…
“I have traveled far, only to slay you!”
A deep voice boomed, echoing amongst the vastness of the deceased…
I giggled; no one has ever slain me before, nor ever shall…
I stepped into the light of the moon,
Waiting for his expression on my unnatural splendor…
His dazzling eyes widened,
Desire consuming him whole…
I felt his heart hasten, his thoughts becoming a blur…
He was at lost for words, I noticed, as he tried so desperately to tell me not to come any closer…
I ambled nearer to his irresistible warmth,
Wanting so desperately to take his life…
Succumbing to that insuppressible urge to brush that stray hair away…
Yearning to perceive his enigmatic world,
Unravel his secrets and fears…
To stare into his soul and marvel at its luminosity and perfection…
The Night embraced us with soft arms,
My muse spreading her pallid light upon our skin,
Enveloping us in the sheer magnificence of one another…
Beguiling, heart-stopping, euphoric,
This kiss…
O desire! O passion! O bittersweet love!
Deprive me of this emptiness,
This horrid monster that lurks in me…
“Gorgeous hunter of mine,
Precious mortal,
Be one with me…
Become apart of my malevolent realm…”
With this, his barriers crumbled, and his heart was left exposed for me to claim…
His radiant soul ready to mesh with mine…
I gazed into those boundless pits of green once more,
Relishing in the purity that was soon to be taken…
Stars were in his eyes,
His crimson epitome flushing his cheeks,
Making my hold on the beast within unbearable…
“I am willing to become your eternal lover,
Your blood child,
Your dark prince…”
His voice, a sweet requiem to my lifeless heart…
Those last words filling me with an emotion that I have not felt in centuries…
A saddened white angel stood watch, as I took his life…
He gave himself to me,
Allowing me to drink deeply of his life, of his soul, of whatever I wished…
He slipped into blissful defeat,
Succumbing to me wholly...
His only purpose now was to be taken, so that I may live…
Savoring his malignance, pain, and love,
As if a priceless wine…
The children of my Muse watched, intrigued by it all…
The ashen statues of lost legends viewed from afar,
Tears cascading down their porcelain cheeks…
A soft sigh escaped his fine lips,
His heartbeat gradually growing faint…
I ended my pleasurable feeding,
Offering my immortal essence to his mouth,
Encouraging him to drink from me,
So we may be bonded for eternity…
Weak and pathetic,
He surrendered to me,
Accepting what he was about to become…
Under the jealous stars,
Beneath this velvet sky,
Our souls intertwined,
Everlasting love and immortality grasping us in an unyielding clench…
“My perpetual Prince of Darkness,
My eternal lover…
Let us prowl beneath this deliciously dark sky,
Feeding off the meek, the less worthy…
Dark hunter of mine,
Rest in my soul forever…
Be my infinite mate,
My light when I get lost…”
Scarlet tears of joy rolled down his perfect complexion,
A trembling smile making me venture closer to the edge of insanity…
He embraced me, whispering sweetly into my ear,

“I am eternally yours, my splendiferous blood flower…”

(My deepest apologies for the excruciatingly long write, but I couldn’t stop! I want to thank you all for being patient and reading my seemingly endless poetry/story… There will probably be another, I don’t know right now… It all depends on my Muse, hehe! Well, many thanks once more, and all my love!)

Apologize not, for the tale entrances, entices, teases and tempts the reader. It picks them up and sweeps them away with dark passion, malignant intent, and excitement. A story that holds it's reader to the end can never be too long. It certainly held me. I ended the read with a sense of completion, but wanting, longing for more ... will most definately seek out a follow up. Only one question ... the eyes, more hazel than green, but how did you know ?

Wow...I am almost at a loss for words at how wonderful that was. So dark, eerie, yet passionate and loving. I loved it
