You were just a baby, and having fun,
Before I knew it you were turning one,
the year went fast, with much to do,
Now I look and your already two,
Where does the time go,it passed by me,
I can't believe youre going to be three,
Each birthday you had,I could never ignore,
When I lit the candles, and saw it was four,
so full of energy, with a spirit so alive,
I opened my eyes, only to see your five,
Going to school and learning to read,
Knowing that one day you'll succeed,
while driving you there almost every day,
watching the years slowly fade away,
As I think of it all I start to shead a tear,
What happened to all those years,
Time goes by so fast,I can't believe,
One day soon I'll have to watch you leave,
The next time I look,I wont be able to make a sound,
Because you'll be wearing you graduation gown,
So I will hold on to the memories as much as I can,
For the next time I look at you, you'll already be a man!
