Beslan’s Innocents

Bombs exploding, bullets flying, children dying.
People and parents of Beslan continue crying.
Maniacal terrorists target children at school.
Ill-conceived, demented and despicably cruel.

What makes men and women visibly whack,
Murdering children, shooting them in the back?
What kind of god-damned fools
Could see a benefit in terrorizing schools?

What cause is so great?
What fuels such hate?
In what thinking gone wild
Is it okay to kill a child?

In an instant families were shattered,
Lives destroyed and senses battered.
Once smiling faces now turned to ash;
Hopes and dreams disappeared in a flash.

Dancing eyes have lost their spark;
The light of life forever dark.
Who among you would disagree?
Killing children doesn’t set people free.

What cause is so great?
What fuels such hate?
In what thinking gone wild
Is it okay to kill a child?

Children of Beslan cry out from the grave,
"Mommy and daddy please be brave
My passing has left a very big hole
In the fabric and being of your soul."

You will call my name and I won’t be there.
At our table will be an empty chair
Because of this you will shed many tears.
Keep not me, but each other in your prayers.

What cause is so great?
What fuels such hate?
In what thinking gone wild
Is it okay to kill a child?

This hit me iwhere I live, well written, Yanks and russians cause it btw
