GREEN EYES

Contributed by Alina on Monday, 6th September 2004 @ 03:28:43 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Deep inside the Green
Is a tint of Blue
You have to look really hard
To understand she's true

Deep inside the Green
Are secrets so well kept
You have to look really hard
To see what they have meant.

Deep inside those Eyes
Deepest eyes of Green
Is a tint of Black
Those pretty eyes,
Aern't as nice as they may seem.

( sorry if this wasn't as good as you would think it to be )

I liked your poem. Because of its length it left me feeling that maybe it wasn't completed. (Meaning you planned to add more stanzas)

I also have green eyes (welcome to the club) unfortunately though on my part I cannot honestly say that everyone thinks i'm beautiful. I would likely pass out if people off the street walked up to me and said, "You are so beautiful" and I would imagine it would get old and quick.

I think for most people they only see for example the "faberge egg" and not what is beneath. Oh they may scratch at the surface for awhile but rarely dig very deep to know the real person whether unattractive or pretty that lies beneath.

Looks play a role in my life but not a significant one because if there is no substance-- all you have is a pretty wrapper.

I hope you don't think you are the only person who has skeletons or things that they hide for you are not.

I liked your poem and it got me to thinking which resulted in a long ramble....

Kie
