selfstruggles

When I pick me up,
You put me down,
Drinking out of this eternal cup,
Trying not to frown.
I know I’m not good enough,
You’ve told me a thousand times or so,
You mind games are too rough,
These dire rhymes are too shallow.
I can’t say what I desire,
I can’t say what I need,
Everything will backfire,
All my thoughts must be buried.
I’m not good at this,
I’m not good at that,
When will you leave me alone?
I won’t be saved,
I’ll always be enslaved.

Very good write. It makes a person think about themselves. Keep it up.

Really good write. I know where you are coming from. Self confidence is the hardest thing for me to deal with. A lot of people tell me that i'm not a failure, but honestly I still feel like one. I can't do great things most of the time because I let my self esteem control me. Again, I really can relate to this one and I liked it. |
