A waterfall of tears
For those of so few years
Our anger, confusion, grief
Hearts torn with pain
Again and once again
Our anger comes in waves
Questions repeat, always “Why?"
Why innocents had to die?
Our hatred begins to swell
Confusion spilling into the mind
Making souls mad, half blind
A hard tide begins to turn
We stand in a pool of bitter tears
In emotional pain, anger, fears
The blood runs hot in flood
Why did they kill our children?
Were they animals not men?
The questions fall like rain
Action follows its deadly course
By men shouting ‘till they’re hoarse
Revenge spills from their lips
More hatred wells in our heart and soul
More death will follow without control
In cycles without end
As the children that were stand in that rain
Crying for us there in our pain
And for those who are yet to die
