I Want To Love

Contributed by solnubis on Sunday, 5th September 2004 @ 08:07:30 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I want to love you so much
I would like to tell you how my heart
spins when your near me.
My stomach start to tremble and ache
when you are in my presence.
I want to hold you in my arms
and feel your tender kiss
upon my breathing lips.
I feel like a young schoolgirl
in love for the very fist time.
I feel your lips against mines
and know that this is for real.
You stroke my hair,
you caress my cheek with your hands,
and I feel you move your body closer
to mines ever so gently and sweet.
My emotions are in a whirlwind all over my body.
Almost like an explosion that feels
so intense and excruciating wonderful.
You whisper in my ear and tell me you love me.
Only to awaken and realize it was only a dream.
Can I actually have someone feel that much love for me?
Can I open myself to except this phenomenal emotion from someone else?
I wonder?

unconditional love? oh dear... somebody schooled you wrong girl!! but i can see how you might see it that way, but don't worry - the love experience does and will happen!

Love is what they sell you on T.V., that's why society feels so superficial sometimes. Nobody really knows what it is. It's mostly hype. That's why unassuming dorky boys are the best. because they aren't stupid macho narcissists, and have feelings. Be open to love, but love yourself first. that's step number one.
