We had no reliable intel of WMDs
But who cares that soldiers were sent for a lie
Just so long as they liberate Iraq
Christians don’t care if they die
Our Savior is in heaven
While on the cross soldiers hang
American blood paying for the sins of Saddam
With over 800 soldiers dead
After victory was declared
Our post war is worse than Vietnam’s
Turn a blind eye while Bush
Gives mostly the rich tax breaks
Even if according to Matthew 19 and 22:21
Bush has helped them go to hell someday
They say Osama bin Forgotten
That’s what the Lefties say
Because Bush says he’s not that concerned about bin Laden
Maybe he’ll turn up someday
Meanwhile Bush does dealings with terrorist states
Like Saudi Arabia, run by extremist Muslims
But don’t get outraged, just don’t ask
Where your oil comes from
And despite that the challenger
Has given a plan for energy independence
To stop us from being slaves to Islam
Don't vote for him because he’s a Catholic
Cheney’s company Halliburton got caught stealing from troops
But don’t think about Leviticus 19:11
Because, as we all know
9/11 had changed everything
It’s alright if Bush lies and soldiers die
As long as Bush says he’s pro-life
Just don’t think about the fact
That he helped his ex-girlfriend get an abortion herself
Don’t ask questions just keep watching
Fox News for all your propaganda
Try not to think or find the truth
Thanks-and God Bless America!

Very good, yet I also have trouble understanding it. I can't tell who you are mad at or if you are mad at all. I liked it though |

Lets lump all the Christian as one intity indeed.
As we also did, all of the African seed.
Lets charge all, but of course, ourselves
with mindless sheepishness
like Santa's little elves.
Then, this will make us look
like sages of a sort.
We can accuse,upbraid, and deride
and ignore the expected retort.
The right defends not Bush
in everything hes done,
but, we know the consequince
of appeasment, every one.
We know the party of humanism,
of abortion and the gay,
the Spiritual should take precidence
over the physical anyway.
It really is a task of futility I've took
hate for Mr. Bush
is too strong to be forsook.
The only thing that will do
for a democrat, you see,
says the adulterer Clinton;
is to have another like me.
God Bless You Soldier |

Wow, my apologies on the confusion. I'll have to revise my poem to clear it up.
I'm angry at Bush, and the fact that the Conservative Christians I used to attend church with raised all kinds of hell in the Monica scandal with Clinton, but seem to just not care about all of the anti-Christian things Bush has done. Some like to use the whole "9/11 changed everything" argument, but last I checked Jesus was unchanging, and if Bush is going to be doing those things, then Christians should be mad about it.
The parts where I tell people not to get mad or ask questions was meant to be sarcastic. I see it didn't print well.
Glad you guys liked the poem. I'll get to work on revising it. |

very good stuff man. i feel you all the way on this one. my only thought is why isn't bush on trial for war crimes. after he sytematically bombed and killed 38,000 afghan civilians. why isn't anyone pointing to Bush as a murderer? |

Are you a soldier? If you aren't, I'm not sure you have the right to speak for one.
BTW, 80% of the armed forces voted for Bush.
