I stand outside as the rain is falling.
I see you in the doorway hand outstretched and calling.
I come to my senses and join you inside.
You are now in my life and there is no reason for me to want to run and hide.
I am soaking wet from the rain.
You rush to wrap a towel around me looking in my eyes seeing my pain.
Though I am in depression you dont run, you stay by my side.
I tell you I am sorry for putting you through this, sorry I lied.
You tell me it's ok that I denied my depression and hid my pain.
I tell you I love you and without you being there for me I would go insane.
You tell me you love me too and we will get through this.
I open my mouth to protest but you silence me with a kiss.
I thne know as long as you're with me everything will be alright.
You smile and put your arms around me and hold me tight
