Topic: LostLove

Floating high up in the air,
Seeing things that aren’t really there.
Viewing the world through a child’s eyes,
Flying high up in the sky.
I gave you my heart, my trust, my love,
All placed upon the wings of a dove.
You know I’ll always be there,
Whether near, far or anywhere.
Walking proud and standing tall,
I’m happy to say that I know you at all,
You are my world, my life, my being
I can’t just ignore this feeling.
I hold your hand,
And I’m living in a dream land.
But now you are gone,
And there is no dawn,
Just dark and night,
But I won’t put up a fight,
I’m too weak,
I wail and shriek,
But to no avail,
My life has gone.
My purpose is none.
