I dug my own grave

Contributed by corrupted_minds on Sunday, 5th September 2004 @ 05:46:22 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Ashamed to be me,
Disappointed in what I do,
Alone, and dark with one plea,
To let me have a clue,
Unhappy with my life,
Love to live in the dark,
Instead of turning to the knife,
I created another mark,
Two fingers down my throat,
The taste still stains my lip,
And in the letter that I wrote,
I told you I'm loosing grip,
Ignored it, I knew you would,
Just left me to burn,
Just like I should,
I love you as much as rain,
Loves to soak the earth,
And as I bleed you'll see the pain,
And all that I am worth,
I try my best but always fail,
Second best was all I made,
Your insults fall like pouring hail,
To be saved was why I prayed,
I *****en weak,
It's aint hard to see,
With every word I speak,
You'd know it's me,
When I die,
Please pretend to cry,
Clothes soaked from tears,
My death leers,
So my secret wont be known,
My suicides perfected,
I'll leave undetected,
The murky skies turn to clear,
I enter the day with no fear,
I try to stay brave,
As I dug my own grave,
I stepped in the hole,
With blood on my face,
An released my soul,
From this utter disgrace....

oh such a heart-drenching write.
i like you, even if no one else does!
your potry is excellent, but all the while on the other side of things it's so morbid and quite scary too.
i love your work, but i wish that you could feel happier one day...

Chilling in a bit... but intriuging in the rest...quite interesthing write here in this. Digging your own grave...an interesthing concept...but I guess we all do that...through ou actions and sometimes inaction... Interesthing indeed!

Again, this is a great poem, but I hope you don't really feel this way. You have a lot of talent and it would be an awfull shame to let that talent go to waste. hang in there. Keep it up. Awesome poem.
