Sinking in

Contributed by iPaRtYiNpInK12 on Saturday, 4th September 2004 @ 05:59:42 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Every time I leave this house,
I see the pain of someone else,
I try to help but they push away,
I wonder why and try to stay,
They dont see what they are in,
They dont know they wont win,
They need help I know they do,
But what could a girl like me do?

I see the pain of someone else,
And once again I try to help,
They push away just like the others,
Is this pain worse then others,
I see them cry and scream for help,
But they dont see im their way out.

I try to help but always fail,
What will I do for someone else,
I see their pain and want to help,
But they push away like everyone else.

I am in pain now,
Who will help me,
No one knows,
I tried to help you,
But you pushed away,
I hope you will come save me,
From this pain,
It hurts so bad,
In so many ways,
People warned me,
But i didnt listen,
And now I know I should have listened,

I am sinking in,
I feel the pain,
The cut is deep,
Now Im fading away.

intense write. people push away when they need someone the most. you just have to stand there with open arms until they come to you. some things you just have to experience, listening doesnt help. youll always wonder if their judgement is right and end up doing it anyway. some things you have to get through on your own, and sometimes that takes time.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
