Way Down The Line
Close your eyes and close your heart
Clear as ice you know your part
In the game we've set to play
Burnt by flame, can't run away
Hanging on the pole you've raised
Once
Would you feel like poltergeist?
Chairman, chairwomen, charladies, chairs with charm
Where's the strength to raise your arm?

ahhhhh tis not in the arm that I might raise.....but in the spirit where the lifting is so much more....than an arm waving in the gentle breeze.....
Beautiful poem, thank you for sharing.
